Configure call forwarding in RingCentral

Sign in to RingCentral admin at service.ringcentral.com. Then:

  1. Click Phone SystemPhones & Devices → pick the line you want to enable
  2. Open the Call Handling tab
  3. Find "After hours" or "When unavailable" rules
  4. Set the action to "Forward to external number"
  5. Paste your PepperSend AI Text-Back number from Step 3
  6. Set "Forward after" to 3–4 rings (gives you a chance to answer first)
  7. Click Save

Important: RingCentral users with multi-extension setups should configure forwarding per-extension, not at the account level — this lets each line have its own AI behavior if needed.
